DRIVING LICENSE IN SINGAPORE
Having a driving license in Singapore is not a luxury as compared to owning a Ferrari or Lamborghini, etc. I had been working in a driving instructions organization and would like to shared some pointers with those who look forward to have a driving license.
First, I would say that I had been procrastinating in writing this blog because due to my poor grammar and sentence constructions. After some thought and determinations, I finally try to start my first blog here.
Lets us go into the point as why do people wants to have a driving license even with the high COEs and many other constrains in owning a car today? I personally view it as the few reasons below:-
1. Fear of the legal age limit for driving set by Traffic Police Department may changed from current 18 years old to 21 years old. (This is just some speculation by common publics but the current age to learn riding or driving is still 18 years old.)
2. Some parents would like their child have their driving license as soon as when their age reached 18 years old, as they perceived that tests might be getting harder to pass in the near future.
3. Some parents worry that if their son is due for National Service called up, it would be wise to let their son go for an early driving lessons & have his driving license before his enlistment.
4. Some are people whose driving license are revoked or suspended due to their traffic offences and required to retake their driving test again.
5. Some are foreign expatriates whom need to drive in Singapore as required by their company and need to have the driving license urgently.
The lists will goes on and on but somehow, these are reasons why people need to have a driving license. So to have a driving license in Singapore, here are more details in this respect.
