After stopping to write for some times, I decided to write again in my blog, as I wish to shared my thoughts with everyone. Today, I would like to share some points with new learner drivers on how to begin with their driving journey as a new driver ( those who are totally new in handling a motorcar).
When one attained the age of 18 years old, be it parents or would be new drivers, your mind set is to obtained a valid driving licence as soon as possible - right? But how to go about it.
First, you need to have passed a Basic Theory Test (BTT) in order to obtained a PDL (Provisional Driving Licence) to enable you to drive a car. Next, you need to pass your Final Theory Test (FTT) in order to book for your Traffic Police driving test.
Your driving lessons started here and you started to source for your driving instructor, be it from a driving schools or private professional instructors - right?
It made no difference whether you choose from these two categories. End of the day is whether are you able to acquired the right driving techniques and passed your driving test.
As a new learner drivers, once I was like all of you during my trainee times, I am so eager to have my driving licence as soon as possible. Thus it has landed me in slowing down my learning progress yet spend even more money and time to obtain one.
Therefore as a piece of advice, I wish that all new learners drivers will observe the following good learning etiquettes while you are undergoing your lessons with your instructors.
1. Comply all safety instructions given by your instructor.
2. Don't reason and disputes when you are being pointed out on your mistakes.
3. Don't shift your blame to others during your driving lessons.
4. Observed courtesy driving and don't fight for your right of ways if it may caused accidents.
5. Don't compared the way your family members, friends and others on their driving habits.
6. Don't compared other learners learning curve as yours.
7. Don't instruct your instructor to do subjects that is not meant for the day.
8. Don't show your egoism even if you are a 'celebrity' n your professions.
9. Don't be too calculative on timing for few minutes differences as other learner too will be waiting.
10.Be attentive and focus on driving as safety is the most priority.
Above are just few points that as a new learner driver, these are the most after sought good driving etiquettes which every instructors is looking forward to their students.
Wish all new learners a pleasant, happy and safety driving experience.
